Synopsis: Kull is a teenager and is already physically adept and headstrong. He lives as a feral child until found and adopted by the Sea Mountain tribe. Kull is born into the outlaw tribe of Tiger Valley in Atlantis, his tribe is killed in a flood while he is still an infant. The personal name variants used are those that first appeared in published form: Ka-nu = Kananu, Delcardes = Delcartes Untitled fragments use the titles of Lin Carter’s completed versions, for ease of reference. I used the 2006 Del Ray edition of the Kull stories throughout. Howard stories in their original forms, plus some information from The Hyborian Age essay.
I've come up with this chronology that includes all the Robert E. However, re-reading them, I found a very solid trajectory of Kull's career and kingship. I'd idly thought about a chronology of Kull's stories, and at first assumed it was impossible due to the stories' dreamlike quality. I feel that Kull is a fascinating character in his own right, much more thoughtful and vulnerable than Conan, and is often overlooked. The Kull story By This Axe I Rule! was re-written into The Phoenix on the Sword, Conan's first story.
Howard, and is probably most famous for being a projenitor of Conan.
